Welcome to the Certification on Blockchain, Sport, and Social Impact!

In this introductory section, you’ll learn:

The Certification’s vision and goals: We’ll explore how this certification, offered as part of the Chiliz Includ3d Accelerator, supports a growing movement toward innovative blockchain use cases, aimed at advancing inclusion and equity in and through sport.

An overview of Chiliz and Chiliz Includ3d: Chiliz, a leading blockchain provider for sports and entertainment, and its social impact initiative, Chiliz Includ3d, are focused on promoting blockchain accessibility and exploring how technology can level the playing field across the sports industry.

Structure and learning approach: This self-paced certification comprises four modules, each featuring videos, expert Q&As, and tasks, designed to engage learners of all backgrounds, from industry professionals to fans and social impact advocates.

Course modules:

You’ll work through four focused modules designed to deepen your understanding of blockchain’s potential to address pressing social issues. Here’s a brief overview:

  • Module 1: Introduction to blockchain doing good, which covers foundational concepts and the potential for blockchain to drive social change.

  • Modules 2 & 3: Blockchain applications for people and planet, which dives into blockchain’s role in philanthropy, funding mechanisms, governance, and in powering a concept called “regenerative crypto economics”.

  • Module 4: Blockchain in sport for social impact, which integrates prior learnings, and explores how blockchain innovations can support social impact specifically in the context of sport.


By completing all four modules - including the multiple choice quizzes, you’ll receive a Chiliz-certification in January 2025. Additionally, you’ll receive invites to live webinars featuring Web3, sports, and social impact pioneers. Look out for invites in your inbox!
